Latest News1/13/13 - A local charity in Pensacola has raised up enough funds to give the shipyard a total renovation along with the construction of the new training facility funded by Red Star Line. We expect the total construction time to be around ten weeks, during which all vessels either undergoing construction or refitting, will be modified to be towed to Mobile, Alabama to a W&S Shipyard outpost, where they resume construction until 1) They get completed or 2) The renovations to the yard are done. Also, during this renovation you may experience slight traffic problems getting to the docks, as the roadways around the harbor are getting repaved.
