Some Red Star Line HistoryIn early 2008, a young school student by the name of Brandon Henderson had a vision, to make a virtual ship line for all to enjoy. Brandon officially named Red Star Line that day, and published it's first website later that week. The website was basic, and only featured a home page and a few addons for the game Virtual Sailor.
Around Mid 2010, Brandon decided to shut down the old website, and go more modern, and redid it all from scratch, using Webs. The website was considerably better than the old one, and Brandon started getting emails from friends asking him to start building ships. Brandon complied, and launched Red Star Line's first ship in August of 2010. The ship was scrapped later that year due to Brandon's loss of interest in the line. In 2011, Brandon received an email from Supreme Line President Ryan Whyte, who asked him to become partners. Red Star Line had just been revived. Brandon got back into Red Star Line and opened up a brand new website using Weebly, and launched a new ship, the RMS Britannica. Now, in 2012, Red Star Line is the second largest virtual ship line in world, operating a fleet of over nine ships. Brandon says he is proud of what he is doing, and takes good care of his fellow partners and friends. |
